Reasons for joining and applying

I used to work in the passenger department at the airport, but due to the impact of COVID-19, I was seconded to the cargo department.

At that time, I saw that cargo was still moving even when people were stopped moving, and I felt that logistics was an important industry that supports our lives. This made me want to try my hand at air cargo transport, so I changed jobs to ECMS Japan.

I was initially a temporary employee, but have been working as a full-time employee since January 2023.

Current job description

Currently, I am responsible for adjusting cargo space, creating air waybills, and sending cargo information to each destination.

When adjusting the space, I consider the cargo combination and choose the airline and flight, and it's very rewarding because I can make it cheaper depending on how I use my ingenuity.

In addition, since tasks such as packing and removal are carried out by warehouse staff, we make adjustments while incorporating opinions from the field to ensure that work is carried out efficiently.

What I'm glad about is that I joined the company

The appeal of our company is that even if you work in the consolidated cargo department, you can see the flow of cargo consistently.

I would like to continue to use what I learn every day to improve myself and grow at a rapid pace.
