Shipping Guidelinnes
To ensure our customers can send their packages overseas with peace of mind,
We provide clear information on what can and cannot be sent, as well as points to note when sending items as an individual.
Please be sure to read this before shipping to avoid any issues or delays.
Items Prohibited from Acceptance
In order to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of your luggage, we have detailed information on handling during transportation, scope of responsibility, prohibited items, etc., so please be sure to read it before making a request.
We cannot accept the following cargo for transportation:
1. When the weight, volume or amount exceeds our company's separately specified regulations.
2. When the cargo falls under the following items: (1) Valuable goods (meaning goods containing any of the following items):
- Items with a declared value for transportation of 1,000 US dollars or equivalent per kilogram or more
- Gold, platinum, and other precious metals and products thereof that are defined as valuables under the rules of the International Air Transport Association (excluding gold or platinum plated products).
- Banknotes, coins, securities, traveller's cheques, stamps, bank cards or credit cards in usable condition
Diamonds (including industrial diamonds), rubies, emeralds, sapphires, opals, pearls (including cultured pearls), and jewelry made from these.
・Jewelry made of gold, silver or platinum
(2) Letters or means of communication defined as letters under current law; (3) Animals, including insects; (4) Plants and plant materials, including cut flowers (including dried flowers and preserved flowers).
(5) Perishable foods, refrigerated or frozen foods, or other foods or beverages that require temperature control (this does not apply if the company approves this by entering into a separate contract).
(6) Corpses or remains (7) Items that are easily decomposed or spoiled
(8) Dangerous goods (meaning dangerous goods as defined by the International Air Transport Association's Dangerous Goods Regulations and items that fall under the following categories):
・Explosives
・Gas (high pressure gas, liquefied gas, dissolved gas, cryogenic gas)
・Flammable liquid
- Flammable solids, spontaneously combustible substances, and substances that generate flammable gases when in contact with water
・Oxidizing substances, organic peroxides
- Poisonous and infectious substances
- Radioactive materials, corrosive materials, and other harmful materials (magnetic materials, anesthetic, poisonous, or other similar liquid or solid materials that cause extreme discomfort to passengers or crew members).
(9) Cargo whose transportation or import/export is prohibited by the laws or regulations of the country of departure, destination, transit or passing through. (10) Cargo for which customs declaration has not been made in accordance with the provisions of applicable customs regulations. (11) Cargo that requires certification or confirmation of other laws and regulations pursuant to Article 70, Paragraph 1 or 2 of the Customs Act. (12) Cargo with an incorrect address or an address not properly indicated, or cargo with defective or insufficient packaging that cannot be safely transported even with reasonable care taken in handling. (13) Other items that the Company deems inappropriate.
