Thank you very much for using our services.

We would like to inform you about changes to South Korea's import customs regulations.

From January 1, 2025, foreign customers will also be required to submit a PCCC number (Personal Customs Clearance Code) when importing goods to South Korea.

Until now, customs clearance was possible using your passport number, but please note that due to the new regulations, import procedures will not be able to proceed if you do not have a PCCC number.

<About PCCC numbers>

The PCCC number is required for personal import customs clearance in Korea.

You will need to register and obtain it on the Korean Customs website below: https://www.customs.go.kr/english/cm/cntnts/cntntsView.do?mi=10801&cntntsId=5502

<Request to customers>

When shipping cargo to South Korea, please confirm the PCCC number with the recipient in advance and provide accurate information at the time of shipping.

In addition, if the customer information provided when registering the PCCC number does not match the customer information provided when placing an order during import customs clearance, the order will be subject to formal customs clearance.

Until now, Korean Customs has allowed you to correct any errors in the information when submitting manifest clearance applications and resubmitting the application. However, from January 1, 2025, all items with incorrect information will be required to go through formal customs clearance procedures. Formal customs clearance may take longer to process and may incur additional costs.

If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact our customer service.

We look forward to your continued support of our services.
