Introduction of fuel surcharge

Thank you very much for your continued support of our business.

We have decided to apply a fuel surcharge to shipments that qualify for discounted shipping rates using our express service departing from Japan.

Currently, fuel prices for the aircraft we use are continuing to rise due to rising crude oil prices caused by supply instability in oil-producing countries and fuel surcharges caused by the uncertain global situation.

Under these circumstances, we are working on various cost-cutting and efficiency measures, but the increase in expenses due to the rise in aviation fuel prices continues to exceed the level that can be managed through management efforts. Therefore, we have decided that further emergency measures are essential, and have decided to introduce these measures.

We will continue to make even greater efforts in the future to provide stable cargo transport services. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in the fact that the fuel surcharge will be borne by our customers.

1. Setting The price of Singapore kerosene, a typical jet fuel for airlines departing from Japan, is used as the base. The rate to be charged is set at the average Singapore kerosene price for the month two months prior to the applicable month, and is applied based on the "Fuel Surcharge Setting Standards." Example: For the fuel surcharge for February , the average Singapore kerosene market price for December is USD 82.79 , and the rate is 7.2 %.

2. The "Fuel Surcharge Setting Standards" are reviewed monthly, and the rate is determined based on the above conditions and applied to shipments made on the 1st of the following month. Changes for the following month will be updated monthly on our website.
